The Catholic University of Louvain has adopted a self-archiving mandate based upon the one at ULg, with the same incentives and obligations.
In its meeting of 2 July the Academic Council of UCK adopted a policy of mandatory deposit in its DIAL repository of all bibliographic metadata as well as full-texts as of 1 January 2013. As of that date, the Academic Council will only consider duly deposited publications in its internal research performance evaluations and that deposit will also be one of the criteria in the allocation of institutional research funds.
En sa réunion du 2 juillet le Conseil académique de l'UCL a confirmé le mandat de dépôt obligatoire. Le conseil académique valide le système DIAL et décide de rendre obligatoire l’enregistrement des données bibliographiques et le dépôt en texte intégral à partir du 1er janvier 2013. Le conseil académique confirme que l’évaluation interne des chercheurs ne tiendra compte, à partir de cette date, que des publications dûment déposées dans le système et que le dépôt sera également un des critères d’octroi d’allocation de ressources institutionnelles dédiées à la recherche.
