Full text of the mandate (in Catalan) http://www.bib.ub.edu/fileadmin/arxius/diposits/2011_06_Politica_acces_obert_UB.pdf The 7th of June of 2011, the Governing Council of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) approved the document entitled "Universitat de Barcelona Open Access Policy" establishing that all the members of the scholar community shall deposit a copy of any academic publication immediately after publication and no later than 6 months. The UB recommends the publication in open access journals when possible and it is committed to facilitate this type of publication, either by providing resources or dealing with publishers.
